The Brant County Minor Hockey Association is proud to
congratulate our Brant Battalion U11B team on winning the Southern Counties
League Championship on Friday night.
Playing on home ice in front of a packed arena, the
Battalion delivered a thrilling and memorable performance against the Twin
Centre Stars. After falling behind 1–0 early in the game, the team showed
incredible resilience, battling back with determination and scoring four goals to secure a 4–2 victory and claim the championship title.
The energy in the building matched the moment, as players
fed off the support of their hometown crowd to complete an impressive comeback.
This win is a true reflection of the team’s character,
perseverance, and commitment to one another. Qualities they’ve demonstrated all
season long.
The U11B Battalion is led by Head Coach Jon Kristman,
alongside a dedicated staff of Assistant Coaches/Trainers Levi Blake, Kevin
Thoms, Shaun McLaren, Scott Kearsley, and Josh Fisher. Their leadership and
support have been instrumental in the team’s success.
Congratulations to all the players, coaches and families on an
outstanding achievement. The entire association is incredibly proud of your
hard work and accomplishment.
With this victory, the team now advances to represent BCMHA at the OMHA Championships.
Best of luck as you continue your journey to the Red Hats!
