U10A Battalion Food Drive
The Battalion U10A team will be spreading a little Christmas spirit for the month of December by trying to give back to the community. We will be spearheading a food drive for the month that will be donated to the local food bank. This will allow our players the chance to understand that hockey is more than just on ice, it's a way to learn and grow as a community partner.
We challenge every single Battalion Team to donate as much food as possible to assist with our Local Food Banks.
Home Games
We will be collecting donations as a form of "admission" to our home games this month. For each game, the team will be reaching out to the visiting centre to advise them of our initiative.
No Frills Visit
We also arranged a visit to Jay's No Frills in Paris on December 21st from 11:00am-2:00pm.
Here we will be asking for donations to support the cause but the players will also be available to assist shoppers in loading their vehicles, etc. We are looking forward to a very successful campaign!
